National Transgender HIV Testing Day Data Spotlight
In honor of National Transgender HIV Testing Day on Saturday, April 18th, the ETE Dashboard Team would like to shine a spotlight on data addressing transgender people living with diagnosed HIV in New York City.
From 2014 to 2018, all new HIV diagnoses in NYC decreased 29%, but the number of transgender people with newly diagnosed HIV did not significantly decrease. Transgender people with newly diagnosed HIV who were virally suppressed within 3 months of diagnosis increased from 11% to 46%.
