The New York State Department of Health, AIDS Institute, welcomes abstract proposals that highlight expertise, innovative strategies, cutting-edge ideas, research, and implementation experiences related to New York State’s Ending the Epidemic (ETE) initiative to be shared with ETE Summit attendees!

The Tenth Annual ETE Summit will be held on: Tuesday, December 9 – Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Albany Capital Center in Albany, New York.

The 2025 ETE Summit tagline is
“One Journey. One Community. One Mission to End Epidemics.”

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the ETE Summit and optimal timing to showcase our collective advancements towards ending preventable epidemics of HIV, hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infections, and drug overdose. Selected abstracts will showcase past progress, current approaches, and future strategies to ensure all communities attain ending the epidemic metric goals. This approach prioritizes collaboration and person-centered care to effectively address social determinants of health.

For more details and to submit an abstract:

Abstract submissions are due by July 23, 2025,  at 11:59pm EST.

Applicants will be notified the first week of October if their abstract is accepted for presentation. A Speaker Orientation will be held in mid-October. Final presentation materials are due in late October. Keep an eye out for Summit and WAD event registration details this Fall.

Please contact ete@health.ny.gov with any questions regarding the call for abstracts. We value and appreciate your hard work and support.

Thank you for your participation in this year’s events!
