2022 ETE Summit - Call for Abstracts
An announcement from the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute: |
Dear Ending the Epidemic Stakeholders,
The New York State Department of Health, AIDS Institute is pleased to announce the call for presentation abstracts is now open for the 7th Annual Ending the Epidemic (ETE) Summit, to be held virtually on November 29 and 30, 2022. World AIDS Day (WAD) will be held virtually on December 1, 2022.
Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts on the event theme – advancing health equity – and tagline Collaborating for Change: Partnering for Health Equity.
Selected abstracts for virtual workshops and posters will highlight the many diverse and extraordinary partnerships developed to address inequities – differences that are unjust, unfair, and avoidable, such as access to quality health care/services, safe housing, nutritious food, quality education, and safe environments, for people living with, or at risk for HIV, STIs and HCV. As described in the ETE Addendum Report, partnerships are critical to promote health equity and achieve ETE goals beyond 2020 for all New Yorkers.
Abstract submissions are due by July 15, 2022, at 11:59pm EST.
Applicants will be notified in August if their abstract is accepted for presentation. Speaker Orientation will be held in September/October. Final presentation materials are due in late September. Keep an eye out for Summit and WAD event registration details this Fall.
Please contact ete@health.ny.gov with any questions regarding the call for abstracts. We value and appreciate your hard work and support. Thank you for your participation in this year’s events!
